Over 2 billion people worldwide do not have access to essential medicines

Most of the deaths of those aged under five are from preventable diseases such as diarrhoea and pneumonia

Everyone knows what it’s like to get sick, or see someone we love fall ill.  In Europe, we can readily access the medicines we need. But in the developing world, many easily treatable diseases can mean chronic pain, poor quality of life or even a death sentence.

This Christmas we want to send 100,000 treatments to places around the world where the need is greatest

         - refugee families in Iraqi Kurdistan facing another cold and difficult winter in a camp

         - cholera victims in Yemen where over 2,000 have already died from this easily treatable condition

         - victims of the crisis in South Sudan where one in three have been displaced
